Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced archer, the country offers several excellent venues where you can try your hand at this ancient sport. We will guide you through some of the best archery ranges in the Philippines, ensuring a memorable and thrilling adventure!

Archery Range in Metro Manila

Let’s start this list with some of the best places to play archery in Metro Manila. The sport has been growing these past few years. Unlike several years before, there are several archery ranges in Manila to choose from today.

Southern Archers AGC Lifestyle Park | Las Piñas City

Southern Archers has a new range in AGC Life Style Park. It is located along Daang Hari Road and inside the Versailles Alabang Village. This archery range is huge, and you can shoot up to 70 meters.

Some qualified instructors can teach you the basics of archery, including barebow, Olympic recurve, and compound archery. One of the coaches also shoots traditional archery, so if that is your cup of tea, feel free to drop by. Look for Coach Iraya or Coach Edward.

Another plus here is that there is a food park inside the Lifestyle Park with lots of food choices, so you won’t get hungry.

Here are the drawbacks, though. The archery range is only open on Saturday and Sunday from 4 pm to 10 pm. Shooting in the afternoon is also a bit troublesome since you will face the sunset. It looks beautiful, though.

Rates:

  • 250php – 25 arrow fun shoot (per person) inclusive of range use and equipment
  • 500php – 1 hour trial lesson
  • 4500php – archery lesson (per person) 4 x 2 hour sessions
  • 300php – 1-hour range fee (archer’s equipment)
  • 400php – 1-hour session (including equipment rental)

Arcus Archery | The Village Sports Club Las Pinas City

Arcus Archery is a place for everyone to try archery. It is open to beginners and advanced archers. The range is long enough for 70 meters. There are a lot of trees and it feels refreshing to shoot here.

I have had great experience shooting at Arcus and if I live nearby, I’d definitely shoot here more often. The only downside I can think of is the complicated B.F. Homes gate system and the dreadful traffic of Sucat road. It is not a problem though if you live in the area or if you have the needed gatepass stickers.

Rates:

  • 550php – 1-hour equipment rental and basic instructions
  • 400php – 1-hour range fee (own equipment)
  • 650php – 2-hour range fee
  • 800php – 3-hour range fee
  • 900php – 4-hour range fee
  • Message their page for full archery lessons

Benel Archery | Mandaluyong City

Benel Archery is one of the best places to buy archery equipment in the Philippines. The best part is, this shop also has an indoor range where you can practice your skills.

The range is a little bit small since it is indoors and the farthest range is 18 meters. It is more than enough for daily practice. Benel also offers archery lessons for barebow, Olympic recurve, and compound archery.

Benel is located in Mandaluyong City and is very accessible via the MRT, public transportation, or private commute.

I’ll keep this section updated once I get to know their range of rates.

DMZ Archery Range | Quezon City

If you love to shoot barebow then DMZ archery range is for you. This range takes pride as “the home of the barebow archers” and they do know how to hone the skills of their barebow archers.

DMZ is located at Project 6, Quezon City. It is an indoor archery range that is fully airconditioned. Yes, you won’t get sweaty while playing archery.

However, the range is limited to 18 meters since it is just indoors.

Rates:

  • 300php – 1-hour range fee

STI Gold Toe Archery Range | Marikina City

STI Gold Toe Archery Range is home to the Olympus Archery Club. It is also the training area of the Philippine National Archery Development Program and the National Team. The range is open to everyone but, there are exclusive lanes for national athletes.

This outdoor archery range is wide and you can shoot up to Olympic distances.

Olympus Archery strives to promote all kinds of archery including Olympic recurve, barebow, compound, and traditional archery.

PANA Archery | Several branches

Pana Archery is probably the most accessible place to play archery in the Philippines. They have several branches scattered throughout the country. There are three branches in Metro Manila alone – SM Mall of Asia, SM Southmall Game Park, and SM Fairview. The SM City North Edsa branch is their latest one.

The provincial branches are located at SM Cagayan De Oro Downtown Premiere, SM City Cebu, and SM Lanang Premiere. There is an upcoming branch at SM Santa Rosa Laguna, though I am not sure if it will push through since there is no news about it yet.

Pana archery has top-notch Olympic recurve and compound archery coaches so if you want to train here, you are in good hands.

Rates:

  • 499php – 1 hour
  • 299php – 30 minutes
  • All rates are inclusive of basic instruction, equipment rental, and target paper.

Poitiers Archery | Manila City

Poitiers Archer is not your typical indoor archery range. It is a neon-themed short-distance indoor range where you can channel your inner Katniss Everdeen. This range is located on España Boulevard, Sampaloc, Manila, just in front of the University of Santo Tomas.

Besides archery, the place is perfect for those who are looking for a hangout place.

However, Poitiers range is too small for actual shooting. Perhaps some form shooting will do but, for serious practice, you are better off at a different range.

Rates:

  • 350php – 30 minutes (unlimited arrows)
  • 450php – 1 hour ( unlimited arrows)
  • The range fee includes basic archery coaching, target paper, and equipment rental

Manila Polo Club Archery Range | Makati City

The Manila Polo Club Archery Range is a little bit more exclusive compared to the other archery ranges in the Philippines. Entering the Manila Polo Club is members-only and you need to know a member to be able to enter.

But if you want to train here, you have to contact coach Joann Chan Tabañag and inquire through her Facebook. By the way, she also handles the Archery Products page and if you want to purchase equipment, she has your back.

Manila Polo Club regularly conducts archery tournaments too.

Arrowland by Gandiva | Pasig City

Gandiva archery has been around for some time now in the archery scene here in the Philippines. Its archery range, Arrowland, in SM Megamall is an accessible option if you want to try out the sport.

This archery range has skilled coaches too if you want to take a full archery lesson.

The range fee is inclusive of basic coaching, gear, target paper, free parking, and wifi.

Rates:
